Headlands Brewery

Over the last couple months, I have had the privilege of doing photography for one of the newest additions to the Bay Area brewery scene, Headlands Brewery.

I first came across a Headlands brew while on a beer run at our local market in San Francisco. After enjoying a few of their Hill 88 DIPAs, I reached out to ask if I could work with them prior to their June opening. Months later, I have had the opportunity to shoot their beers both on the trail and in the brewery!

I shot some of my first images for Headlands at Hawk Hill, a 923-foot peak in the Marin Headlands that attracts bikers from across the Bay Area. While walking with my beer and camera in hand, a biker rode up behind me and startled me with a “HEADLANDS BREWWWW!”

The team at Headlands is not new to the craft beer world. Headlands has been brewing beer since 2013, racking up various medals at the Great American Beer Festival, Copa Cervezas de América, La International Beer Competition, and the Good Food Awards. Just this last week, Headlands opened their first brewery and taproom location in Lafayette, CA. Now, you can enjoy their brews and food at their architecturally unique patio space.
